Dr. Maria Fondal, CEO and founder of Arhritisa Research and Treatment Center llc. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She received her training at leading universities under the guidance of the greatest leaders in the field of Rheumatology and Immunology. Under the direction of Dr. Gordon Sharp (Sharp's disease) Dr. Fondal has done research in the area of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Clinical Research is Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
She is Principal Investigator for Clinical Trials and is currently investigating new therapies for Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Ankylosing Spondylitis, and Gastrointestinal Ulcers.
Middle Georgia Arthritis Centers of Excellence is a state of the art facility. Patients are provided with onsite laboratory, onsite MRI, onsite clinical research and development. Full Physical Therapy Department is on the premises.
She is an invited lecturer in several major cities.
